Welcome to FindMyFitBuddy (“the App,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Provider

The App is managed by FindMyFitBuddy, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) [97161748], located in Helmond, the Netherlands.

2. Accessibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.

Some features are only available with the user's explicit consent.

By using the App, you confirm that the information you have provided is correct.

3. User behavior

Treat other users with respect.

Harassment, abuse, hate speech, or inappropriate content is prohibited.

The App may not be used for commercial purposes, spam, or illegal activities.

4. Safety

Always meet in a safe, public location.

FindMyFitBuddy is not responsible for offline meetings between users.

You are responsible for your own behaviour and decisions.

5. Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, profile information).

By uploading, you give us permission to display this content within the App.

We may remove content or block accounts that violate these terms.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if:

These terms and conditions are being violated,

The App is being misused, or

Harmful or illegal activities are taking place.

7. Liability

The App is provided "as is," without any warranties.

We are not liable for any damage resulting from the use of the App.

8. Changes

We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Continued use of the App means that you agree to the new terms and conditions.

9. Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.

FindMyFitBuddy – Privacy Statement

FindMyFitBuddy (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This statement explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

1. What information do we collect?

Account details: name, email address, phone number, gender, age, profile photo.

Login details: Facebook Login, Google, Apple.

Preferences: sports, goals, hobbies.

Location data: estimated location for matches and events.

App usage: crash reports (Firebase), push notifications.

2. How do we use data?

To create and manage your account.

To enable matches and participation in events.

For sending notifications and reminders (via Firebase).

In case of SMS verification, via Twilio

For improving performance and troubleshooting.

3. Sharing data

We do not sell your data. We share limited data with:

App usage: crash reports (Firebase), push notifications.

In case of SMS verification, via Twilio

Facebook / Apple / Google – login services.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

View your data.

Correct or delete your data.

Withdraw consent.

Transfer your data (data portability).

The App is intended for users aged 16 and older. Do not allow to be installed under 16 years.

Parental consent is required for users under the age of 16.

Profiles of minors (<18) should not be visible to adults.
